Carmine Mistichelli

Fidelity Engineering, LLC, a premier provider of high performance building solutions in the Mid-Atlantic region, announces the promotion of Carmine Mistichelli to Chief Operating Officer/Partner, Fidelity Mechanical Services & Building Automation Systems.

In this new role, Mistichelli will oversee daily operations for all of Fidelity’s Mechanical Services and Building Automation Business Units.

The appointment of Mistichelli to COO comes at a time of growth and expansion for Fidelity. In 2017 the company acquired Martin J. Braun, a leading mechanical contractor that specializes in Government Contracting. More recently, Fidelity acquired HVAC Concepts, a building automation and systems integrator that creates smart building systems and operates one of the region’s most sophisticated digital monitoring centers for commercial buildings and critical facilities.

“2017 proved to be an exciting year for Fidelity, as we successfully embarked on enhancing our portfolio of services and expanded our concentration on federal government contract work,” says Dave Lanphar, CEO/Partner of Fidelity Engineering, LLC. “Carmine’s leadership successfully integrated both acquisitions into Fidelity’s structure and as COO, he will help us further grow and expand our capabilities to better serve our clients.”

Mistichelli has over 20 years of industry experience. Prior to his role as COO, Mistichelli served as President/Partner of Fidelity Mechanical Services, where he successfully led the organization’s expansion into the Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. markets. He also streamlined field efficiency, which helped catapult Fidelity’s approach to proactive, world-class service. Furthermore, Mistichelli enhanced the Design/Build division, a team of in-house engineers comprised of LEED Building Design Experts that emphasize Integrated Energy Savings.

“Being a member of the Fidelity family has been a highlight of my professional career, where I’ve had the pleasure of working with one of the most talented teams, not just in the HVAC and mechanical industries, but in business,” says Carmine Mistichelli, Chief Operating Officer/Partner of Fidelity Engineering, LLC. “I’ve seen this organization grow leaps and bounds, even during times of national economic uncertainty, and I’m pleased to take on a new leadership role that will only enhance the path of success our team has already paved.”

Mistichelli is an active member of the U.S. Green Building Council, the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI). In addition to his professional work, Mistichelli is an avid philanthropist. One of his many community outreach efforts includes sitting on the Advisory Council of the Salvation Army of Central Maryland. His dedication to the organization and serving his local community earned him the Community Commitment Award in 2017.

A Baltimore native, Mistichelli is an alum of Archbishop Curley High School. He graduated Cum Laude from Strayer University with a Bachelor of Science in Business. In 2017, Mistichelli earned a Certificate of Professional Development in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Mistichelli and his family reside in Glen Arm, Maryland.
