Leadership Maryland Announces 2017 Officers and Directors

Pamela Ruff, John Wasilisin, Derryck Fletcher, Sean Looney, and Susan Simmons join board of directors

Leadership Maryland, the professional development program dedicated to building a better Maryland by harnessing the strength of its local business and community leaders, announces the election of its officers and board of directors for the coming year.

Re-elected to their official roles are Chair Eric Brotman, CFP ’09, president and managing principal of Brotman Financial Group; Vice Chair Dr. Memo F. Diriker ’12, director of BEACON at Salisbury University;Secretary Howard S. Freedlander ’05; and Treasurer Jeanne Forrester Singer, Esq. & CPA ’07, Attorney at Law with the Law Offices of Jeanne F. Singer.

Leadership Maryland’s newly elected directors are: Pamela J. Ruff '98, executive director of the Maryland Economic Development Association (MEDA); and John M. Wasilisin '05, President and COO of the Maryland Technology Development Corp. (TEDCO). In addition, Derryck Fletcher, Vice President, Youth Development, Y in Central Maryland; Sean M. Looney '96, Vice President-Government Affairs at Comcast; and Susan C. Simmons '06, Director of Parks and Recreation for Caroline County, have also joined the board as representatives of Maryland Leadership Workshops, which became a division of Leadership Maryland in January 2017.

Kimberly A. Clark ’09, Executive Vice President of Baltimore Development Corporation; Ranjit “Ron” S. Dhindsa, Esq. ’04, Partner at Hollingsworth LLP; and Bonnie Marie Green ’07, Executive Director of The Patuxent Partnership, were re-elected as directors for second consecutive terms.
