The Electric Motor Repair Company (EMR), a leading provider of service, repair, installation and sales to the commercial kitchen, refrigeration, industrial motor, elevator and marine industries, has named Seth Rochette as operations manager of its Beltsville, Maryland branch. Rochette, who has been working as the operations manager of EMR’s Lorton, Virginia branch since November 2015, will now manage both service centers simultaneously. In only three years with EMR, Rochette accelerated his career – starting as a cooking technician, to a service department coordinator, and now as the operations manager for two of EMR’s six locations.

“Seth’s strong determination and his charisma, which inspires everyone who works with him, made it easy for us to bring another branch under his supervision,” said Caroline Kauffman-Kirschnick, general manager of EMR. “Our company has been successful for the past 90 years because we have a keen way of identifying and nurturing internal talent. Seth is a great example of how a technician in the field can successfully transition into a management position through hard work and recognition by fellow team members.”

Prior to joining EMR, Rochette worked for New England-based Horizon Bradco as a cooking technician and trainer. After eight years with the food equipment solutions and service provider, Rochette moved to Maryland to join the EMR team.

“I am excited to bring the success I had at managing the Lorton, VA branch to the Beltsville, MD team,” commented Rochette.
