Baltimore native, Liris Crosse is bringing her more than a decade of experience in the modeling and fashion industry to the city she calls home. The 5’11 “glamazon” who has graced the covers, pages, store windows and runways of Vogue, Essence, Lane Bryant, Ashley Stewart and many more will present her two-day “Life of a Working Model Boot Camp” on March 4th and 5th at The Forum (4219 Primrose Ave.) in Baltimore.
Liris has been hailed Baltimore’s Supermodel by popular radio station, 92Q and was featured as the cover story in the Baltimore Sun’s December 2015 issue (http://www.baltimoresun.com/
Baltimore is the first stop on the tour of this powerful and informational boot camp that will extend to Alabama, California, Missouri, New York and Texas. Since its January debut in a jam-packed Manhattan studio in New York just three years ago, Liris has expanded the boot camp from a simple class to a full-fledge experience for girls, teens and women seeking to launch their modeling careers or simply build self-confidence. The workshops provide attendees with the best practices for everything from getting started in the modeling and acting industry to runway walking and posing. She even provides personal, one-on-one sessions to evaluate and critique head shots and styling.
Liris has maintained a highly successful career as a plus model in an industry that for years did not acknowledge the fashion needs of the “curvy” woman. Due to her undeniable skill, beauty and professionalism, she is continuously called upon by designers to represent their clothing lines. Liris has been able to make a living as a model and through her Master Class, she wants to provide all future models, no matter their size or shape, with industry lessons that will propel their dreams and careers.
Liris is excited to share the news about the boot camp to prospective attendees in Baltimore and is available for interviews throughout February. To schedule an interview, please contact Christy Stewart at the number or email address above.
