Howard Bank, a locally owned community bank serving businesses, professionals and individuals in the Greater Baltimore area, announced that it has hired Jamie Bennett as branch manager of their Rising Sun location.

As branch manager, Mr. Bennett will be responsible for leading and managing daily sales, operations and customer service. Mr. Bennett will also build customer relationships, manage risks and develop employee potential.

“Jamie is a welcome addition to the Howard Bank team,” said Barry Luciani, Howard Bank’s Senior Vice President, Branch Executive. “He is an incredibly motivated worker and has several years of experience in leadership positions. He will make an immediate impact on the growth of our Rising Sun branch.”

Mr. Bennett has almost ten years of experience in the Maryland banking industry. He began his career as a financial sales consultant at PNC Bank in 2007, where he quickly climbed the ladder. By 2012, Mr. Bennett served as branch manager for PNC Bank at their Elkton, Maryland location, where he was responsible for leading a team and overseeing customer service and daily operations. Most recently, Mr. Bennett was branch manager for APGFCU also located in Elkton.

Mr. Bennett is a graduate of the 2014 class of the Cecil County Leadership Institute.
