WeberMessick has purchased the 20,000 square-foot Bay Bank building at 1740 East Joppa Road. The financial services and accounting firm will make exterior and interior renovations to the property, investing about $1 million in improvements.
Twenty employees will be relocated to the property from the current White Marsh location.
The project adds to the momentum along East Joppa Road. At least three other projects are advancing in this area: the Loch Raven Commons mixed-use development near LaSalle Road; the Gavigan's store near Oakleigh Road; and the opening of Ukazoo Books at Loch Raven Boulevard.
