Penny Burke
Howard Bank, a locally owned community bank serving businesses, professionals and individuals in the Greater Baltimore area, announced that it has hired Penny Burke as Branch Manager of the Dublin location, one of the bank’s 13 full service branches located on Conwingo Road.
Burke will be responsible for leading Howard Bank’s Dublin branch team, managing staff, daily sales and customer service aspects of the branch. Burke will also help to grow the branch by building customer relationships and developing employee potential.
“Penny is an incredibly motivated branch manager with more than 17 years of experience in the industry,” said Barry Luciani, Howard Bank’s Senior Vice President and Dublin Branch Executive. “We are confident that her leadership and bank management experience will have an immediate impact at our Dublin location. Prior to joining Howard Bank, Burke worked for 1st Mariner Bank for almost eighteen years. During her career there, Burke quickly worked her way up the ladder, from teller to assistant manager in less than four years. In 2003, Burke was promoted to Branch Market Manager, where she was responsible for training and developing branch staff, building customer service and relations and analyzing branch reports to operate within a budget.
