Brian Davis, Managing Director and CEO of ClearView Group, LLC, announced the addition of Paul R. Lichter, CPA, as a Principal within its Tax and Advisory Practice. 

Mr. Lichter has over 35 years of experience in various areas of accounting, auditing, and tax planning and preparation for Middle Market Businesses and their owners. He has direct experience with representation before both the Internal Revenue Service and State Tax Authorities. Lichter is an expert at providing his clients with high level tax advice and ensuring  they are adhering to all tax compliance guidelines. Prior to joining ClearView, Lichter served as a Director and Officer of Rivlin, Lichter & Feldman, a firm he helped found in 2001.

Mr. Lichter holds a BS degree, cum laude, in Accounting from the University of Baltimore, and has completed several Masters Level courses in Taxation. Lichter is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA) and the Maryland Society of Accountants and Tax Practitioners (MSATP). He was awarded a Certificate of Educational Achievement in Personal Financial Planning by the AICPA and completed the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) examination. Lichter has served on the Small Business and Federal Taxation Committees of the MACPA. He has also served on the Board of Directors for his Synagogue and in the Maryland Army National Guard.
