KatzAbosch is pleased to announce that our Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Arlene R. Thayer, AAAPM, has been elected to Towson University’s College of Business and Economic Advisory Board.

The College of Business and Economics (CBE) develops high-quality and innovative programs and resources, connects individuals to opportunities, and transforms students who will have a positive impact within Maryland and beyond.

The members of the CBE Advisory Board serve as an advisory group to the dean of the College of Business and Economics. The public looks to the board members to ensure the integrity of the College of Business and Economics is maintained in its external and internal fiscal, legal and policy matters through membership, guidance, advocacy and development.

Arlene will join an advisory board of 19 members, who represent a diverse background of community leaders and industries. "I am honored to be a part of this distinguished board," said Arlene. ”I’m passionate about the College of Business and Economic’s mission and look forward to serving in order to advance it.”  

Throughout her career, Arlene has been involved with a number of boards and committees. In addition, she has won numerous awards recognizing her mentoring and leadership qualities. Arlene joined the firm in 2003 and has over 15 years of industry experience. She creates the necessary people systems crucial to effectively grow the organization and to ensure both financial strength and operating efficiency. As a member of the executive team, Arlene works to promote a success-oriented and accountable environment. Providing leadership and management, she ensures that the firm stays the course towards achieving its strategic objectives.
