Baltimore Radio Legend Tom Marr Passes Away

Longtime Baltimore radio personality Tom Marr, whose career spanned talk radio and the Orioles broadcast booth, died Thursday. He was 73.

Marr suffered a stroke earlier this week, and was unable to recover due to the severity of the ailment.

“We know was special to so many throughout Maryland, as well as his audiences and media colleagues across the nation, and overseas,” his family said in a statement. “But he was even more special to us as a husband, father, and grandfather. He was our hero, and we will miss him dearly.”
