Hamilton Bank CEO Robert DeAlmeida Appointed to Maryland Chamber of Commerce Board

Robert DeAlmeida, president and CEO of Hamilton Bank, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce.  The mission of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce is to advance its members and the State of Maryland as a national and global competitive leader in economic growth and private sector job creation.

Under DeAlmeida’s tenure at Hamilton Bank, the bank has experienced significant growth, completing the acquisition of two community banks in the past year alone. "With his experience and network, Bob is a great resource to facilitate connections and help ensure the continued growth of our member businesses. We also know he will be will be a strong voice for our members and a tireless advocate for the entire Maryland business community,” says Kathy Snyder, interim president/CEO of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce.

DeAlmeida is already an active volunteer on boards including the Maryland Bankers Association and Healthy Neighborhoods. He also serves on the advisory councils of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond's Community Depository Institutions and the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business, providing a business perspective for the strategic direction of the school.  Additionally, DeAlmeida serves on the Neighborhood Housing Services of Baltimore loan committee as well as the Girl Scouts of Central Maryland finance and investment committee.
