Berman McAleer, LLC, an independent financial advisory and wealth management firm, announced Judy Brown, CFP® has joined as Senior Financial Advisor.

“Judy Brown is a key addition to the Berman McAleer team,” said David Berman, Berman McAleer’s Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer. “She has a wealth of experience, dynamic personality and works tirelessly to make certain her clients’ needs are met.”

Brown began her career more than 20 years ago, working as a financial advisor and analyst, as well as a mortgage consultant. She joins Berman McAleer after several years working with a national retirement planning firm.

A graduate of Gettysburg College, Brown holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting. She also received an MBA from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business. Brown has held the Certified Financial Planner ^TM (CFP®) designation since 2014.

In addition to her duties at Berman McAleer, Brown teaches financial planning courses at Howard Community College and leads pro-bono public education seminars through the Howard County Public Library System.

On her appointment as Senior Financial Advisor, Brown said, “I’m looking forward to developing strong relationships with my clients and helping Berman McAleer continue to grow and offer superb financial counseling.”
