Power Plant Live! Announces Reopening of Several Dining & Entertainment Spaces

4/8/21

Baltimore’s premier dining, entertainment and innovation district will gradually reopen its dining and entertainment venues starting with its newly expanded 25,000 square foot outdoor plaza and beer garden on April 9th.

Multiple restaurants and venues across the district are actively recruiting for a variety of positions including Luckie’s Tavern and Leinie Lodge and Beer Garden

Today, Power Plant Live! announced that its extremely popular outdoor plaza and beer garden will reopen on April 9th. The opening of these spaces kicks off a series of venue reopenings for the dining, entertainment and growing innovation district which supports over 150 companies in its expanding Spark Coworking and office communities. Additional tenants that are currently open include Charm City Clue Room and Underground Pizza Company (UPC) which recently opened in February of 2021 and has quickly become a crowd favorite, featuring signature pies such as The Tiger King and The Funfetti. UPC will also open a new outdoor bar to accommodate plaza visitors.

The newly expanded plaza space features outdoor fireplaces, live acoustic music, giant lawn games, and 30 new additional picnic tables spaced six feet apart and spread across the 25,000 square foot patio. Plaza customers can order food and libations from Luckie’s Tavern or Leinie Lodge and Beer Garden, both featuring new QR code contactless menus.

Just prior to the most recent City-wide shutdown, a giant 25-foot LED screen was installed above Power Plant’s Live! infamous stage, establishing the plaza as the go-to place for Ravens games, and now for Orioles games with the start of baseball season.

“We’ve really taken time to reimagine and reinvent our space to ensure that not only will our visitors be safe but they will have a one-of-kind experience that you can’t find anywhere else in Baltimore,” said Doug Bernaski, Director of Operations at Power Plant Live!. “We couldn’t be more excited to reopen various parts of our neighborhood and support the revival of Baltimore’s dining, entertainment, and music scene.”

Added Bernaski, “Power Plant Live! is known for hosting the best events in Baltimore. While we are taking a cautious approach to our ticketed events, we are incredibly excited to bring back two socially distanced event series that were extremely popular over the last year, Drag Brunch and Six Feet Beats.”

Drag Brunch comes back on Saturday April 17th and then moves to Sundays for the following few weeks. The Six Feet Beats concert series will be held on Friday nights in May.

With the expanded plaza and beer garden, Power Plant Live! also has a variety of positions open across the district including multiple hostess and server positions at Luckie’s Tavern and Leinie Lodge and Beer Garden. Interested job seekers should apply via https://powerplantlive.com/careers.

PBR Baltimore, Mosaic Nightclub & Lounge, Angel’s Rock Bar, Tin Roof, Kracken Axes Baltimore and Ram’s Head Live! will open in later phases. For more information on Power Plant Live!’s COVID measures and policies, visit https://powerplantlive.com/covid-safety-measures.
