New Renderings for Penn Station

3/21/21

Penn Station Partners, a Baltimore-based global development team leading the transformation and renewal of the city’s main transportation hub, today released the newest renderings of its state-of-the-art redevelopment of the historic Pennsylvania Station. Originally built in 1911, the last major renovation of Penn Station was in 1984.

Penn Station Partners’ master conceptual plan includes the full historic preservation of the station. Led by Beatty Development Group and Cross Street Partners, Penn Station Partners are working closely with Amtrak to redevelop and repair the facility by making vital core and exterior improvements to enhance the station’s appearance and increase overall functionality.

"These latest renderings showcase the incredible potential of Penn Station for the surrounding community, the City of Baltimore, and the entire State of Maryland," said Michael Beatty, President of Beatty Development Group. "This transformational project is long overdue, but one that we know will positively impact local Baltimore residents well as the millions of visitors the city welcomes through Penn Station each year."
