Hospitality Tech Company Jurny is Bringing Contactless Tools to Hotel Brexton

A hospitality tech company said last week that it signed an agreement to operate a historic Mount Vernon hotel.

Los Angeles-based Jurny will integrate its tech and management services to operate the Hotel Brexton. Originally built in 1881, the 25-unit boutique hotel was recently remodeled. Famously, the hotel was once home to Wallis Warfield Simpson, who would go on to marry King Edward VIII of England, leading him to abdicate the throne.

Jurny makes tools that allow for operations, and a contactless experience for guests. This includes booking services, management of cleaning and customer support. It uses a model known as software as a service (SaaS), in which software is licensed to a user and hosted in the cloud.
