Mary Kay Gaver

The law firm of Gallagher Evelius & Jones is pleased to welcome Mary Kay Gaver as a partner at the firm.

Mary Kay launched her career at Gallagher nearly 30 years ago, representing lenders, regional developers, and tax credit investors in the development, financing, construction, and operation of market rate and low-income housing developments.

As a partner in Gallagher’s real estate and business transactions practice, Mary Kay will focus on real estate law, representing lenders and borrowers in commercial financing transactions, assisting landlords and tenants in the negotiation and management of leases and other agreements, helping clients with the sale and purchase of real property and in all aspects of real estate development.

“We are very pleased to welcome Mary Kay back to Gallagher,” said Tom Dame, managing partner. “She is an outstanding lawyer and colleague and her practice experience will allow us to meet expanding client needs.”

Prior to rejoining Gallagher, Mary Kay practiced at a local firm representing national lenders in compliance, regulatory and workout matters, as well as commercial financings. Most recently, she was a partner in the business department of a West Chester, Pennsylvania firm, representing clients in a wide variety of real estate, lending and commercial transactions.

Mary Kay is a graduate of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and received her undergraduate degree in Political Science from Loyola University Maryland.

She is a member of the American Bar Association (Business Law Section), the Pennsylvania Bar Association, and the Maryland State Bar Association.

A Pennsylvania resident, Mary Kay serves her community as a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Southern Chester County and Historic Kennett Square. She also enjoys coaching the Kennett High School Mock Trial team. She was recognized as one of Main Line Today’s Top Lawyers for 2018 and 2019.

“I am thrilled to be rejoining the Gallagher team,” Mary Kay said. “My experience at Gallagher deeply informed how I practice law and I am excited to have the opportunity to return to Gallagher’s collegial and professional atmosphere. I look forward to using my experience to contribute to the firm and our clients’ success.”
