Chesapeake Contracting Group Looking to Modernize and Showcase in New HQ
Newmark announces a 19,497-square-foot lease for Chesapeake Contracting Group, Inc. (CCG) new headquarters at 10065 Red Run Boulevard in Owings Mills, Maryland. Executive Managing Director Michael Singer and Director Clare Berrang of Newmark represented CCG in the transaction. The landlord, Merritt Properties, was represented in-house by Whit Levering.
10065 Red Run Boulevard is located within the Owing Mills 14-acre suburban corporate campus providing more convenient access for employees and clients as well as amenities for CCG staff. The building was recently redeveloped into a Class A office building with a new lobby, landscaping, outdoor recreational area, and community lounge.
“Our company has been in our current space for about 30 years,” said CCG President Frank Settleman. “The decision to move to a new location was a welcome next step as we join a campus-like work environment and create a modern workspace built to the standards for which we are known.”
CCG will occupy the majority of the second floor and will showcase the firm’s craftsmanship and attention to detail as the space is being delivered in shell condition. CCG is currently in the design phase and looks to occupy the new space by the second quarter of 2021.
