Walker & Dunlop Surges High on Q3 Servicing and Multifamily Portfolio

"We continue to grow market share, with 69% of our quarterly loan refinancing activity done on loans new to Walker & Dunlop, and 25% of our $7.3B in debt financing done with new clients. This expanding client base and market share translated into significant year-over-year growth in Q3 revenues and earnings," Walker & Dunlop (WD +11.4%) chairman & CEO Willy Walker commented.

Revenues surged 16% Y/Y to $247M with a total transaction volume of $8.4B (-6% Y/Y) with agency lending rising 36% offset by a 45% dip in brokered volume and a 32% drop in property sales volume; servicing portfolio of $103.4B (+13% Y/Y).

As of Sep. 30, 2020, the servicing portfolio had a weighted average remaining life of 9.4 years and a weighted average servicing fee of 23.4 bps; in the upcoming two years, only $4.7B of Agency loans are scheduled to mature with a weighted average servicing fee of 22.7 bps:
