Michael E. Cryor and Leigh T. Howe
Maryland Proton Treatment Holdings, LLC, the operator of the Maryland Proton Treatment Center (MPTC) has named Michael E. Cryor and Leigh T. Howe, two highly regarded members of Maryland’s business and healthcare communities, to its board of directors.
Mr. Cryor is President of The Cryor Group, LLC and a recognized strategic counselor and public leader. Ms. Howe is the current president and CEO of MPTC. Both are Baltimore natives.
Mr. Cryor is respected for his ability to facilitate large complex agreements with clients like Exelon Corporation, Northrop Grumman, Kaiser Permanente, the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and the Baltimore City School System. Mr. Cryor has also worked as psychologist and director of the Department of Consultation and Education at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York; an associate dean at Morgan State University and in various executive positions in both chambers of the United State Congress, as well as the Maryland Democratic Party.
Ms. Howe, a healthcare finance executive and banker, became the MPTC President and CEO in June 2018. Ms. Howe has 40-years of experience working at major U.S. banks and private investment companies focusing on healthcare lending and investing.
