Kalsi will be honored for his commitment to inspiring change throughout his career

The Daily Record has named Pritpal Kalsi, Director and incoming CEO of SC&H Group, to the 2020 VIP List — Very Important Professionals Successful by 40 awards.

The Daily Record created the VIP List in 2011 to recognize professionals 40 years of age and younger who have been successful in Maryland. Winners, chosen by an outside panel of judges including previous winners and business leaders, were selected based on professional accomplishments, community service and a commitment to inspiring change.

Kalsi will succeed SC&H Group co-founder Ron Causey as CEO on January 1, 2021. He currently leads SC&H Group’s Business Performance Management (BPM) practice, where he has focused on innovation and building motivated and efficient teams that work together to meet and exceed project goals while providing the highest quality of service.

For nearly 15 years, Kalsi’s strategic insight has helped SC&H Group foster a culture dedicated to serving its clients, colleagues, and community, while planning for the next generation of services to provide the marketplace, including artificial intelligence, financial transformation and data analytics. He took the early initiative to spearhead the firm’s corporate-wide leadership and training programs by sourcing professional development programs, and also leads SC&H Group’s Innovation Committee, which is made up of a team of senior executives selected to oversee research and structure a framework for innovation. Last year, the committee hosted the inaugural summit, AdvantEdge, where Kalsi spoke to our nearly 300 local business leaders to discuss how to implement financial transformation.

In March, Kalsi was appointed to the board of directors of Make-A-Wish® Mid Atlantic.

The winners will be honored Sept. 17 at a virtual celebration from 6 to 7 p.m. at TheDailyRecord.com/vip-list/. Each of the winners will be celebrated for their achievements through video storytelling.
