Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the real estate services firm has been selected by Townsend Capital to market and lease a 109,000-square-foot (sf), Class-A three story office building in Owings Mills, Maryland. The building, located at 10090 Red Run Boulevard, was formerly owned and occupied by T. Rowe Price Associates and was recently sold to Townsend Capital.
“We are a Baltimore based group but most of our concentration has been outside of this market,” said Doug Brinkley, Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield. “We see this as a ‘trophy’ tier asset for the Greater Baltimore market in an upscale regional office park. Users today are focused on their environment and we can create a safe, green and inspirational setting for companies easing back into the workforce.”
Owings Mills is a booming area with new retail and multifamily properties within the surrounding area. This property features a number of amenities including open surface parking lots, green spaces, efficient HVAC systems and natural light filled spaces within the building. Although the building has been meticulously cared for, Ownership will be working with a local design firm to enhance the lobby and will be exploring a grab n’ go food service and other amenities that are important to tenants.
“We’re thrilled to have Cushman & Wakefield spearheading our leasing efforts for 10090 Red Run,” said Jared Stile, Executive Vice President at Townsend Capital. “This property has many differentiators compared to neighboring office buildings and we’re eager to fill the space with credible tenants interested in setting roots in such a dynamic area. What’s especially exciting for us is, we can offer a value rent for an ‘A’ tier building!”
The Cushman & Wakefield team of Lizzy Sweeney, Doug Brinkley, Stuart Rienhoff and Charlie Fenwick have been engaged to market and lease the building.
