Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) DC announces its Call for Entries for the 2020 CREW DC Awards. The organization’s theme this year is “Raise Up Your Voice”, a call to action to increase the visibility of members, sponsors and stakeholders in commercial real estate. In 2020, CREW DC is introducing an expanded awards program, focused on recognizing individuals and companies who are making positive changes in our industry on issues of diversity, equity and inclusion.
The Call for Entries began August 18th and ends on September 11, 2020. Winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 2, 2020. Award categories include:
Individual Awards
Woman of Impact (CREW Members only, female, senior level, +/- 20+ years of experience) This award recognizes a senior level, highly successful woman who has broken multiple barriers in the commercial real estate industry.
Champion (CREW Members only, female, mid-level, +/- 10-20 years of experience) This award recognizes an outstanding mid-level professional who is not only excelling in her own career but provides support and encouragement to the professional development of others.
Emerging Leader (CREW Members only, female, young professional, +/- 10 years of experience) The Emerging Leader award recognizes an up-and-coming professional for her valued contributions and commitment to the industry.
Game-Changer (Open to CREW Members and Non-Members, male, senior level) The Game Changer Award recognizes a senior level, professional male in the industry who has demonstrated a commitment to fostering the careers and promoting the advancement of women in the commercial real estate industry.
Company/Team/Individual Awards
Pivot Award (CREW Members Only) The Pivot Award recognizes a company or team who has efficiently and successfully adapted their standard operating procedures in response to the COVID-19 Health crisis
Raise Up Your Voice Award (Open to CREW Members and Non-Members) The Raise Up Your Voice Award recognizes a company, team or individual who has exemplified a strong commitment to social, economic and political equity
Project Award
Project Excellence Award (a least one CREW Members must be actively involved on the project team) The Influential Project Award recognizes a project/project team that demonstrated excellence in placemaking, deal-making, interiors, or marketing.
