Building STEPS is pleased to announce two new members of the Board of Directors, as well as new two new members to the Board of Advisors.
Joining the Board of Directors are Leah Cox and David Lockhart. Havaca Ganguly and Kevin Jennings are new members on the Board of Advisors. “We are pleased to welcome our newest board members. They join Building STEPS at a pivotal time of propelling our city’s students to college and career success,” said Richard Edlow, Building STEPS Board Chair.
Leah Cox is Vice President for Inclusion and Institutional Equity at Towson University. Affirming and supporting TU’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, her office is responsible for accessibility, center for student diversity, accessibility and disability services, diversity and inclusion initiatives, hate crimes and bias incidents and Title IX. David Lockhart, site manager of the Aberdeen Proving Ground field office, leads Boeings local field marketing efforts and provides an interface for the Department of Defense and US Army customer community.
Ms. Ganguly, Program Director at Middendorf Foundation brings expertise in business development and philanthropy. Mr. Jennings is CEO and President of Millennium Corporation, a strategic management, cybersecurity and systems engineering firm.
Building STEPS is a nonprofit that exposes Baltimore City’s brightest high school students to careers that rely on science and technology and equips them with the tools to propel them to college and career success. Nearly 80% of program graduates earn a college degree.
