In his new position, Myers leads WIF to fulfill its mission, which is to provide support for residents who outlive their income and assets, to improve the quality of life for all residents, and to build an endowment for the future. Thanks to the philanthropic generosity of donors, WIF has realized this mission for 113 years, which offers security and peace of mind to residents and their families.
“We are thrilled that Doug has joined the Ingleside family. Doug’s philanthropic experience and knowledge is exactly what the Ingleside family needs to achieve Westminster Ingleside Foundation’s mission,” said Ingleside President and CEO, Lynn O’Connor.
Myers is an experienced professional with 30 years of experience in philanthropic senior leadership positions and has been acknowledged nationally for his achievements. Prior to joining WIF, Myers was the president and CEO of the Asbury Foundation for 18 years.

In the last five years he has served as a board member and campaign major gifts chairman for the Arc of Carroll County and been the vice chairman and board member for the United Methodist Association.
Myers joins Ingleside at an exciting time when all three communities are adding more programs and services including Ingleside at King Farm’s Gardenside in Rockville, Maryland, with 120 new independent living residences, alongside its recently opened Memory Support Assisted Living residences and state-of-the-artCenter for Healthy Living. Ingleside at Rock Creek’s Creekside in Washington D.C., with 105 new independent living residences, along with its own recently opened Memory Support Assisted Living residences and Center for Healthy Living.
