Becket Hitch To Open Larger Store Within Green Spring Station This March

3/5/19

Baltimore’s go-to gift spot to offer an even greater selection of merchandise, programming and classes just down the corridor from its original location

You asked, Becket Hitch answered the call! In early March, 2019, Becket Hitch, Baltimore’s go-to store for stylish gifts, accessories and home-goods will nearly double its square footage moving into a brand-new, custom designed store in the Joppa Concourse at Green Spring Station located just steps from its original store. Becket Hitch is regarded as the area’s premiere destination for seasonal and celebration gifts and home goods for men, women and kids; décor for the kitchen, bar and bath; paper goods and a wide selection of Maryland-inspired items.

“When Becket Hitch opened five years ago, I was hoping to answer the demand for stylish, whimsical, unique gifts, accessories and home-goods that did not exist elsewhere in Baltimore, and to say that I have been overwhelmed by the community’s response to our brand is an understatement,” said Kohli Flick, owner of Becket Hitch. “Our customers appreciate the personalized, comfortable and memorable shopping experience where we really do know so many of their names. I can’t wait for this new store which will offer more of the Becket Hitch experience within a bigger space, including new programming and special events.”

Becket Hitch will continue to carry customer favorites including the Sydney Hale Candle Company and a larger selection of Julie Vos jewelry. New products include the Cisco furniture line, a handcrafted in the USA family owned company, and a greater selection of Roller Rabbit apparel, as well as some new specialty lines. Becket Hitch’s new store will incorporate more light, customized accents and the same warm, homey feeling. Customers will still appreciate the personalized shopping experience at Becket Hitch that comes with knowledgeable salespeople who specialize in selecting that perfect gift. Gift wrapping, special shopping event opportunities, new classes and programming are all on the agenda for the new store.

“We have big things happening at Green Spring Station this spring and Becket Hitch’s expansion is a key driver of this exciting growth,” said Ted Peddy, owner of Green Spring Station. “We are thrilled that Kohli and her team have enjoyed such great success over the past five years. What could be more gratifying than watching a new tenant experience the growth that demands more square footage? We look forward to watching as Becket Hitch offers new product lines, programming and special events in the store space.”
