Cordell D. Boone
Cordell D. Boone has been appointed Treasurer of the Board of Directors of Point Breeze Credit Union.
A member of Point Breeze Credit Union for 50 years, Boone joined the Board in April 2018.
Boone ventured into the mortgage lending industry in 1999 after retiring from Lucent Technologies and a 37-year career in telecommunications, engineering, and sales. He spent the last 18 years as a Maryland Title Producer Independent Contractor and Mortgage Loan Closing Agent.
A graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Boone is a member of the Maryland Land Title Association and The National Notary Association. He is also an active community volunteer, and has served on the Board of Directors for non-profits such as Rehabilitation Opportunities, Inc. (ROI), Healthcare for the Homeless, and Prodigy, Inc.
In addition, he has served as a Parent-Surrogate with Baltimore City Public Schools and a member of the Montgomery College Engineering Technologies Advisory Committee.
Boone is a U.S. Army veteran. He and his wife, Deleanor Harris-Boone, reside in Ellicott City.
