
Nicole Wilhelm Smith
NAIOP Maryland, the local association comprised of more than 450 professionals working for real estate development organizations and affiliated companies including architectural, accounting, law and brokerage firms has elected Nicole Wilhelm Smith, Business Development Manager for ECS Mid-Atlantic to its Board of Directors.
Currently Co-Chair of the NAIOP Maryland Awards and Community Service committees, she also chaired the association’s Program Committee for more than five years. Ms. Nicole Wilhelm Smith joined the chapter in 2009 and was awarded the NAIOP Maryland “Service Provider” Award in 2014. She was also named a national “Developing Leader” in 2015.
In her position with ECS Mid-Atlantic, Ms. Smith is responsible for new business development for the geotechnical engineering, environmental services and construction materials testing departments for ECS Mid-Atlantic’s Baltimore office. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Towson University.
“Nicole’s involvement, leadership and creative input made her an obvious choice for this board position and she brings tremendous enthusiasm and passion to every assignment,” explained Vince Bagli, President of NAIOP Maryland. “During her time chairing our Program Committee, she significantly elevated attendance at our monthly events while choosing venues that consistently piqued the interest of our members. Nicole continues to make significant contributions to every committee she is involved with and we consider her extremely invaluable.”
