Nancy Greene
Miles & Stockbridge Chairman Nancy Greene has been named to a national list of 100 Influencers in Law, compiled by editors and staff writers across The Business Journals' network of more than publications, including the Baltimore Business Journal and the Washington Business Journal.
“These are executives to know for entrepreneurs and companies that are looking to expand their businesses to new locations or to grow further in the cities in which they’re now operating,” said Mark Mensheha, director of the national news desk, in his story about the honor.
Greene was elected chairman of Miles & Stockbridge in February 2018 and became the first woman to lead the firm in its 86-year history. A board member since 2017, Greene previously served for five years as co-leader of the firm’s Real Estate and Transactional Finance Practice Group with more than 50 lawyers.
She focuses her real estate practice in the areas of acquisitions, development, leasing and lending. She represents regional and national financial institutions, property owners and tenants, commercial developers and health care organizations, in all aspects of their businesses.
In her capacity as firm chairman, Greene is responsible for evaluating and leading the executive committee’s development of the firm's vision and core strategies. Her focus on the firm's culture includes driving the firm's well-regarded diversity and inclusion efforts to an even higher level.
