MOD Pizza, a national pizza chain specializing in made-to-order pies and salads, has opened its newest location in Hampden’s slowly revitalizing, semi-upscale Rotunda shopping center.
The restaurant began serving customers today at noon. In charitable fashion, the business is donating all proceeds from its opening day to Virginia-based child hunger-fighting nonprofit Generosity Feeds. The first 52 customers will also be getting free pizza or salad, and a Facebook event mentions some other giveaways.
The menu on the company’s website lists 10 signature pizza recipes, a few salads and an abundance of toppings that can be piled onto a custom order at no extra cost.
