Recognized on a National level, Grimm + Parker Architects’ design wins AIA/ALA 2018 Design Award
Grimm + Parker Architects, (G+P) an established leader in providing architecture, planning and interior design services, is pleased to announce that Laurel Library is the recipient of the American Institute of Architects/American Library Association (AIA/ALA) 2018 design award.
Prince George’s County Government/Prince George’s County Memorial Library System’s Laurel Branch Library is a modern space for discovery and community rather than a repository for print media. This branch embraces its place in the community through transparency—dissolving the barriers between interior and exterior while providing an array of modern educational amenities.
“This is the only award that recognizes entire library structures and all aspects of design,” states Melanie Hennigan, President of Grimm + Parker Architects. “Our team are leaders with a strong desire to bring the best possible solution to every project”, she added.
