The Brigance Brigade Foundation, an ALS advocacy organization created by former NFL player O.J. Brigance and his wife Chanda, today announced that it has appointed Dawn Lichtenberg (Mercy Medical Center) and Jeff Judge (Chesapeake Wealth Concepts) as the newest BoardMembers of the Foundation.

As Board Members, these individuals will play an integral role in raising critical funds and awareness to further the Brigance Brigade Foundation’s mission of equipping, encouraging, and empowering individuals living with ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease). Lichtenberg will also serve as the Secretary for the Board, in this role she will be responsible for managing the records and administrative functions of the team.

“Both Dawn and Jeff have already established themselves as an important part of our team through the donation of their time and talents over the last few months, we are excited to make them official Board Members in 2018,” said O.J. Brigance, Co-Founder of the Brigance Brigade Foundation. “I know they will help us achieve great things on behalf of ALS families.”

Dawn Lichtenberg has been in Healthcare Administration for the last 16 years and is currently the Director of Operations in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Mercy Medical Center. Lichtenberg’s career began at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine where she spent nearly 31 years, the last ten of which were spent as the Senior Administrative Manager in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Additionally, Lichtenberghas been very active in the Plastic Surgery Administrative Association, serving on the Executive Board since 2006 and elected as President in 2009-2010. As a family member of individuals afflicted with ALS, Lichtenbergbrings a unique personal perspective to the Board of Directors and is a strong advocate in supporting those living with ALS.

Jeff Judge is the founder of Chesapeake Wealth Concepts, a financial planning and advisory firm with 3 locations throughout Maryland. Judge’s practice is focused on developing personalized strategies for closely held business owners and their executives. He also serves on the strategic planning and young member committees at the Center Club, is on the Board of Directors of the Baltimore Estate Planning Council, and is actively involved with many charitable organizations throughout the Baltimore area. A Certified Financial Planner, Judge was celebrated as a VIP under 40 by The Daily Record in 2015, in addition to being named a 5 Star Wealth Manager in Baltimore multiple times.
