Berman McAleer’s Senior Financial Advisor Judy Brown Named To Financial Planning Association Of Maryland Board Of Directors

The Financial Planning Association of Maryland (FPA of Maryland) announced today that Judy Brown has been named to its Board of Directors. Brown is a Senior Financial Advisor at Berman McAleer, an independent financial planning and wealth management firm.

“It’s an honor to be selected as a board member for the FPA of Maryland,” said Judy Brown. “The financial industry is full of opportunity, and I am excited to share its capabilities with the community.”

During her three-year term, Brown will support bringing financial planning to the community through outreach efforts such as Money Power Day this coming spring and Baltimore Financial Planning Day next fall. She will also actively support financial planning professionals through the FPA of Maryland’s professional development opportunities.

“We are thankful to have Judy as the newest member of our board,” said Crystal Alford-Cooper, President of the FPA of Maryland.“Her varied expertise will help us advance as an organization and continue to strengthen our industry.”

Brown has over 25 years’ experience in the financial industry. She is active with the “Smart Women Securities” initiative through Gettysburg College and has worked with the FPA of Maryland prior to her board nomination in its “Invest in Girls” campaign. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Gettysburg College and her Masters from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
