Rick Hoffman Named Director of Coldwell Banker Global Luxury, Mid-Atlantic

Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Mid-Atlantic has named Rick Hoffman, former regional vice president of the Washington, D.C. market, as the Mid-Atlantic director of its new Global Luxury brand. Hoffman will be responsible for the development, operation and marketing of this high-end specialized program which focuses on properties valued over $875,000 in the communities of Annapolis, Baltimore, Northern Virginia, the Maryland/Delaware beaches and the District.

The new Global Luxury program was introduced in early 2017 and supplants the Coldwell Banker Previews International program, a world leader in luxury real estate since 1933. Every day, affiliated Coldwell Banker luxury property specialists handle approximately $130 million in luxury home sales, more than any other real estate brand. In 2016, Coldwell Banker affiliated sales associates represented home buyers and sellers in more than 25,000 plus luxury home sale transactions priced at $1 million or more.

With over 25 years of luxury real estate experience, Hoffman, a former attorney, has been with Coldwell Banker since 2012, first as its branch vice president of the Georgetown office in Washington, D.C., where he successfully ran one of the highest-producing branches in the region, to, most recently, the regional vice president for Washington, D.C. where he oversaw the successful operation and management of Coldwell Banker’s 13 local branches.

Prior to Coldwell Banker, Hoffman was with the Corcoran Group in New York, where he led 11 offices in the Hamptons and oversaw the acquisition of the company’s largest competitor. He also worked with Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate, growing his region’s market share by adding four additional offices as well as hiring 50 new additional agents in 18 months. Hoffman also worked as a real estate attorney for numerous years in the Hamptons, New York.

Hoffman, a native of Annapolis and resident of Georgetown, received his law degree from Catholic University and his bachelor’s degree from Tulane University where he was a member of the sailing team.
