Questar Appoints David Brown as General Manager of 414 Light Street

With a commitment to delivering a five-star, hotel-inspired living experience, Mid Atlantic developer Questar Properties has appointed David Brown as General Manager of 414 Light Street. Bringing more than 20 years of experience in hospitality and residential operations to 414 Light Street, Brown will be responsible for curating and maintaining the high-rise tower's effortless living experience and activating the building's bespoke amenity suite, a collection of over 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor recreational spaces.

Brown will oversee all operations and manage a staff that will introduce unique amenities including an outdoor, 16-foot dual-sided movie screen, an al fresco kitchen and dining area, a pet park and pet spa, a skyline terrace complete with a pool and cabanas, community and resident gardens, and an urban bosque. Inside, the team will oversee an entertainment kitchen and dining bar as well as a theatre, game room, and business lounge. 

Dedicated to providing a luxurious lifestyle experience for its residents, 414 Light Street will also boast a private fitness club and exercise studio with high-caliber equipment, and a yoga and movement studio with floor-to-ceiling windows.

Brown joins Light Street from the Irvine Company in Newport Beach, California, where he served as General Manager for more than three years, managing all operations of 1,500 units across three properties. Prior to his role at the Irvine Company, Brown was a Multi Outlet General Manager of the 5 star 5 diamond Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach. He also formerly held positions as the F&B Outlets Manager at the historic Wigwam Golf Resort & Spa in Phoenix, Multi Outlet Manager at The Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale and as the Clubhouse Manager at Brynwood Golf and Country Club in Armonk, New York. 

Questar Properties broke ground on 414 Light Street, a new iconic fixture on Baltimore's historic Inner Harbor skyline, in March 2016. With an innovative LEED® Silver Certified design by acclaimed architects Solomon Cordwell Buenz, the firm behind award-winning high rises in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago, 414 Light Street will make a statement as the tallest residential tower in the City of Baltimore.

Pre-leasing for 414 Light Street has begun and the first units are expected to be available for occupancy in March 2018.
