Sole Maryland location, located at Valley Village in Pikesville section of Baltimore County, “exceeding expectations” after slightly one year of operations

Teriyaki Madness, a fast-casual restaurant that opened its first Maryland location at Valley Village in the Pikesville section of Baltimore County last year, continues to expand rapidly across the country with the opening of fourteen new sites this year, including six new metropolitan markets. The concepts continues to leverage the growing national demand for healthy food within the Asian fast-casual food segment. The next closest location is in Northern Virginia.

Teriyaki Madness currently has franchise agreements signed for more than 150 teriyaki shops and is anticipating opening approximately 500 shops worldwide within the next seven years. “We are growing strategically and aggressively, and it is clear that there is a national demand for our concept,” explained Michael Haith, CEO of Teriyaki Madness. “We will continue to cater to those seeking customizable fast-casual options that provide delicious, healthy food at a great price.” The concept has achieved nearly 60% growth in 2017 and anticipates having sixty locations open by the end of this year.

Known as the “Chipotle of Japanese food,” Teriyaki Madness serves big bowls of made-to-order dishes that utilize all-natural meats that are marinated and grilled, and wok finished with noodles or rice. Each entrée is accompanied by fresh-steamed vegetables and served with a variety of made-in-house sauces. Menu options include bowl items with the choice of either chicken teriyaki, spicy chicken teriyaki, chicken breast or beef teriyaki.

“Our restaurant is generating five-star ratings on various social media sites and we are overwhelmed by customer response throughout the northwest Baltimore County area which has exceeded our expectations,” stated Vishal Patel, one of the local franchise owners of Teriyaki Madness. “In addition, we anticipate the launch of our delivery service within the next several weeks to make it even easier for customers to experience our food offering.”

Featuring roadside visibility from Reisterstown Road, Valley Village combines Class “A” commercial office space on two levels, with ground-level retail space. The project is surrounded by a free surface parking lot and is located approximately one-mile north from the Baltimore Beltway (Interstate 695). More than 40,000 vehicles pass Valley Village on a daily basis from Reisterstown Road, and the median household income within a one-mile radius exceeds $75,000.

“Teriyaki Madness has proven to be a tremendous addition to Valley Village, as consumers are attracted to this new-style restaurant brand that offers a variety of choices, a fast-casual setting and fresh ingredients,” stated Ken Bernstein of David S. Brown Enterprises. .”
