Cushman & Wakefield announced that it has represented The Bun Shop in its expansion into the Towson marketplace. The Bun Shop has leased 3,614 square feet at 40 West Chesapeake Avenue, across the street from the ongoing Towson Row development. This new location will join The Bun Shop’s existing locations at 239 West Read Street in Mount Vernon and 22 Light Street in the Inner Harbor.
“Towson was a perfect expansion opportunity for us due to the proximity of both Towson University and Goucher College. Our typical clientele consists of college students looking for a comfortable place to plug-in and work, while also enjoying quality snacks of an international variety and great coffee drinks. 40 West Chesapeake’s central location within the Towson business district is an added perk,” commented Minh Vo, owner of The Bun Shop.
The demand for remote workplaces by an increasingly mobile workforce has fueled The Bun Shop’s growth in the Baltimore region. A menu of distinct international flavors in both its hand-rolled pastries and diverse coffee offerings has created tremendous appeal for The Bun Shop when combined with its eclectic and cozy atmosphere and makes it a perfect fit for dense urban and collegiate centers like Towson.
The Bun Shop was represented by Matt Myers of Cushman & Wakefield.
