The Lion Brothers Building Welcomes Enterprise Homes

Cross Street Partners is pleased to announce the addition of anchor tenant Enterprise Homes, Inc. to the Lion Brothers Building. Enterprise Homes, a developer of affordable, workforce and market rate communities, moved into its space this March.

Over the past 30+ years, Enterprise Homes has developed more than 6,500 high-quality homes throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region. The move to Lion Brothers Building will provide the company with room to grow as it continues to expand its impressive portfolio.

Its stunning new space features an open-office environment, with custom-built workstations lining the historic factory windows. The exposed concrete ceiling has been painted white, and is punctuated by restored roof monitors that provide ample daylight into the space. Storefront glass allows this light to permeate throughout, reaching the suite of interior private offices. “Our move to the Hollins Market neighborhood marks an exciting new chapter for Enterprise Homes, and we could not be happier with our new space,” says Chickie Grayson, President & CEO of Enterprise Homes. Marks, Thomas Architects served as the interior architect.

The Lion Brothers Building is the faithful, historic restoration of a former factory building in the Hollins Market neighborhood. The building includes an on-site gym and parking, and its affiliation with the University of Maryland BioPark also provides tenants with access to Class A conference space on W. Baltimore Street. The building, which came online this January, is over 60% occupied, with another 20% under LOI. Baltimore Community Lending, a CDFI, and UMBC’s Intermedia and Digital Arts Program also lease space in the building.
