A new shop in the heart of Lauraville seeks to fill the needs of modern domestics and fabric enthusiasts alike.

Nestled into a small space above Chop Shop Salon on Harford Road, Domesticity Fabric Shop and Craft Studio opened last week to cheers from Baltimore crafters looking for modern lines of high-quality cotton fabrics and a communal place to take classes and talk shop about sewing projects.

The shop will carry contemporary prints on high-quality fabrics. Trendy lines like Robert Koffman, Birch Organics, Cloud 9 Fabrics and Cotton + Steel, among others, are already in stock.
