Back by popular demand, Dunkin’ Donuts of the greater Baltimore region today celebrates the return of the Black-Eyed Susan Donut. The local favorite is available beginning today through May 20 at all participating Baltimore-area Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants.
The limited edition Black-Eyed Susan recognizes Maryland’s official state flower and celebrates the return of horseracing season in Baltimore. The donut is a yeast shell, frosted with yellow icing and topped with chocolate sprinkles and a dollop of chocolate buttercream.
“The Black-Eyed Susan donut has become a staple in our Baltimore-area resturants this time of year,” said Colleen Krygiel, Field Marketing Manager, Dunkin’ Brands. “The donut is the perfect way for Dunkin’ Donuts to honor and celebrate one of Maryland’s long-standing traditions and we love bringing it back year after year.”
