Baltimore’s lifestyle magazine acquires baltimoremagazine.com URL and enhances site to include emphasis on new content, recent news and video.

Baltimore magazine announced today a sleek, redesigned website with enhanced capabilities as well as the addition of a new URL, baltimoremagazine.com.

“We have grown so much since our last redesign—with our web design capabilities, breaking news content and multimedia storytelling,” said Jess Mayhugh, Baltimore magazine’s digital editor. “The new website redesign will really emphasize those elements.”

Since its last redesign in 2014, Baltimore magazine’s web traffic has doubled. Viewers can find recurring columns on restaurant news, urban motherhood, sports stories and cultural events, as well as award-winning video content. Now, viewers can enjoy a new look with enhanced capabilities for sharing content more easily; viewing video content and reading the latest news coverage. Additionally, the new design makes it easier for visitors to find the best services the community has to offer with searchable dining, doctors, camps, wellness and travel guides now found at the top of the homepage.

Over the years, Baltimore magazine’s digital team has increased to a half-dozen dedicated staffers, and the print writers and editors have continued to generate more original online content. The magazine has recently won several industry awards including Folio awards for “Best Consumer Regional Website,” “Best Digital News Coverage” and “Best Use of Video.” New content can be found on baltimoremagazine.comdaily.
