Hord Coplan Macht is pleased to announce that was awarded the Presidential Award of Excellence by the Maryland Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Presented at the organization’s annual gala, the awards program recognizes projects that demonstrate a superior quality of design and execution.
Earning the Presidential Award, the organization’s highest honor, was Loyola University of Maryland: Gateway, Streetscape &Donnelly, a project along Cold Spring Lane in Baltimore, MD. Hord Coplan Macht created a created a safe and comfortable pedestrian experience that serves as an enhanced perimeter frame for the campus. Additionally, stone walls on each side of Charles Street and a new gateway sign created a campus gateway. Through re-construction of the south campus border, Loyola presents a friendly and welcoming face to its neighbors
