Transwestern Advises Journey’s Crossing Church In Purchase Of Germantown, Maryland, Building For $3.4M

4/20/17

Transwestern today announces it represented Journey’s Crossing Church in the purchase of its future home, a 20,200-square-foot flex building at 12900 Cloverleaf Center Drive in Germantown, Maryland. Journey’s Crossing Church purchased the property from Cassell Corporate LLC for $3.4 million. Transwestern Senior Vice Presidents Guy Copperthite and Jim Darby represented the church in the transaction.

“This purchase represents a milestone for Journey’s Crossing Church, as the congregation will now have a permanent property of its own to call home,” said Darby. “The building is centrally located in a progressive area of Germantown that’s under redevelopment with new multifamily and mixed-used projects, and the property allows flexibility to accommodate future growth.”

Journey’s Crossing, which currently rents a high school auditorium for its services, plans to relocate to the property during third quarter 2017.

Peter Rosan and Adam Nachlas of Cushman Wakefield represented Cassell in the transaction.
