Gil Neuman

Veteran commercial broker Gil Neuman has launched a real estate brokerage firm representing sellers of anchored, unanchored, urban and mall retail properties throughout the Mid-Atlantic United States.

With offices in Bethesda and Owings Mills, MD, Neuman Commercial Group specializes inMid-Atlantic multi-tenant retail investment sales. The firm builds upon years of prior successes selling middle-market ($2M - $35M) properties in the Washington D.C., Virginia, Maryland and surrounding markets.

In 2016 at a prior firm, the Neuman-led team closed over $100 million in retail sales. Notably, 80% of these were listed prior with large national and regional brokerage firms but failed to sell as “impossible” deals.

“Gil Neuman’s retail team marketed and sold for us three significant shopping centers in Virginia and North Carolina” stated Jordan E. Slone, Chairman of Harbor Group International, LLC. “Each time their customized campaign and broad reach has yielded maximum sale value.”

Neuman developed his specialty representing shopping center sales at one of the region’s largest retail leasing firms, prior to and during the “Great Recession.” Neuman Commercial Group will leverage its team’s reputation to facilitate sales transactions in once-again uncertain times marked by rising interest rates and a rapidly changing national retail landscape.

“We have received tremendous feedback,” says Neuman. “Immediately following our launch, we were approached to represent several excellent deals. One hit the market last week, and more will be released in the coming weeks prior to the ICSC RECON convention in Las Vegas. I think sellers are excited by our narrow and tight focus on these kinds of deals.”
