Transwestern today announces it represented Post Community Media LLC in the disposition of a 57,950-square-foot office/warehouse building in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Country Realty Co. purchased the property at 9030 Comprint Court for $5.5 million. Transwestern Senior Vice Presidents Guy Copperthite and Jim Darby represented the seller in the transaction.
“The new ownership of 9030 Comprint will be retrofitting the building into an automotive service center for its national brand,” said Darby. “This asset received tremendous attention from a variety of users due to the flexible zoning as well as its high visibility from Interstate 370, the Intercounty Connector.”

The property is a short drive to the Shady Grove Metro Station and offers easy access to Washington, D.C., via Interstate 270. There are a variety of restaurant and retail amenities at the nearby RIO Washingtonian Center, which includes Target, Kohl’s, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Barnes & Noble, Starbucks, Uncle Julio’s, California Pizza Kitchen, Nando’s Peri-Peri, Copper Canyon Grill and Potbelly Sandwich Shop.
