Square Mile Capital Management LLC today announced that it has originated a $127.6 million loan secured by a portfolio of office properties in Maryland’s Baltimore-Washington Corridor.
The loan was made to an affiliateof Greenfield Partners, a leading real estate investment manager in North America. The financing, which will be used to recapitalize the existing debt and provide capital for further lease-up across the portfolio, was arranged by Nicholas Seidenberg and Michael Zelin of EastdilSecured’s Washington, D.C. office.
The 1.2 million-square-foot-portfolio contains 21 assets located across suburban Maryland, and benefits from locations within the strong office submarkets of Hunt Valley, White Marsh, Columbia, and Hanover. The submarkets benefit from favorable population demographics, steady asking rents, low vacancy rates, and limited new supply.
