Marriott International has chosen the Baltimore area as the launch pad for its Delta Hotels brand. It opened its second hotel in the new brand nationwide in Baltimore's Inner Harbor last month (after Orlando) and will open the third hotel in Hunt Valley. 

Baltimore County’s Hunt Valley Inn will take on the Delta flag sometime between mid-March and mid-April, hotel general manager Martin Svigir said. Under the Wyndham flag since 2013, the new name of the 392-room hotel will be Delta by Marriott Hotel Hunt Valley Baltimore. The company will announce the exact date of the brand change later this month.
