Nordstrom Rack is coming to Canton next year.

The Seattle-based Nordstrom department store chain today announced plans to open one of its off-price Nordstrom Rack stores as part of the next phase of The Shops at Canton Crossing, a four-year-old shopping center at 3501 Boston Street in Canton.

The 32,500-square-foot store will be the first Nordstrom Rack in Baltimore City and the sixth in Maryland. Nordstrom said it’s scheduled to open in the fall of 2018 as part of the 90,000-square-foot Phase II section of the shopping center. Construction is expected to begin in November.

The store will join more than 30 existing retailers and restaurants at the shopping center, including Target, Harris Teeter, DSW, Ann Taylor Loft and Old Navy. Nordstrom operates four full-line stores in Maryland.
