Spark Baltimore is going down a floor to create more space for entrepreneurs.
The coworking and office space plans to double in size after an expansion within its building at Power Plant Live! The announcement was made at a Thursday event to mark Spark’s one-year anniversary by Jonathan Cordish, a principal at the Cordish Companies, which developed the space.
Currently, Spark Baltimore is made up of coworking and office space on the third floor of the building at 8 Market Place, and offices on the fourth floor. The expanded space will be a mix of offices and coworking on the second floor. Community Manager Shervonne Cherry said they will also add to common areas and networking space. It’s slated to open in May 2017.
