Greenberg Gibbons announced today that three new tenants, AAA, Guitar Center and Smoothie King, have signed leases for Towne Centre at Laurel, the premier mixed-use destination in Laurel, Md. The new tenants are expected to open in spring 2017 through early 2018.

AAA will open an 8,449 square-foot Insurance, Car Care and Travel Center on a new pad site near Harris Teeter in 2018. The new center will offer travel supplies, insurance and vacation planning services. AAA also offers roadside assistance, auto repair and car maintenance services.

Guitar Center, the world's largest musical instruments retailer, will occupy 12,496 square feet in a new building near Panera Bread. The store, which is tentatively set to open in fall 2017, will be equipped with the latest products for musicians — from guitars, amplifiers, percussion instruments and keyboards to live sound, DJ, lighting and more. It will also offer instrument repairs and rentals, as well as music lessons.

Smoothie King will open a 1,440-square-foot café between Subway and Hair Cuttery in spring 2017. The eatery makes custom-blended smoothies with real fruit, pure juices and nutritional supplements. It also offers an exclusive line of snacks, chips and bars.

Towne Centre at Laurel offers approximately 400,000 square feet of retail, dining and entertainment. Its mix of national and local retailers and restaurants include Harris Teeter, Regal Cinemas, Burlington Coat Factory, Old Navy, B.J.’s Restaurant & Brewhouse, Outback, Panera Bread, Burger Fi, Carter’s | Osh Kosh, and more.
