
H&R Retail, a Washington, DC/Baltimore-based retail real estate brokerage firm, announced it completed two more retail lease transactions at Art Place at Fort Totten, 400 Galloway Street, NE.
David Ward, Geoffrey Mackler, and Sebastian Restifo with H&R represented the landlord, the Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation, in the transactions, which include:
- Shiningstars Pediatric Dentistry leased 2,850 square feet
- Ramdass Pharmaceutical leased 1,930 square feet
Art Place at Fort Totten is under construction and upon completion, will consist of 305,000 square feet of retail, 929 multifamily residential units, a 40,000-square-foot museum, and 170,000 square feet of cultural and art spaces.
The project was designed by Shalom Baranes Associates and MV&A Architectsand is located adjacent to the Fort Totten Metro station on the Red/Yellow and Green Lines.
The first phase of the retail portion is anchored by a 40,895-square-foot XSport Fitness.
